The ABU Education Fund is committed to engaging the public in dialogue on local and national issues relevant to their daily lives. The LDS Values Forum consists of four elected officials and community thought-leaders – two who identify as Democrats, two who identify as Republicans – who are also active LDS Church members. The structure is intended to create a thoughtful arena for the public to engage in an examination of the intersection of faith and politics. Audience members are encouraged to participate in the vibrant discussion.

Panelists include:
Democrats
Jan Garbett
Mayor Ben McAdams

Republicans
Rep. Norm Thurston (District 64)
Holly Richardson

Moderator:
Natalie Gouchner, Associate Dean of the David Eccles School of Business and Director of the Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute at the University of Utah
